Continuing My Consecutive Monthy Summit Streak

I've climbed Longs Peak with many different people over the years, but some of my fondest memories are those with my late friend, Jim Detterline. Jim is legendary when it comes to Longs Peak and holds the record for the most summits at 428. On one climb, we noted that neither of us had missed a calendar month summiting the peak in some time. I think Jim was around 30 consecutive months and suggested I try to beat the record, which he currently holds.

Watch a video of Jim and me on the summit of Longs Peak from way back in November of 2007. This was shot with an early digital camera, and the audio has been enhanced using modern methods to remove the intense wind noise that had made the video virtually unwatchable.
